Job Title : Business Office Manager
Department: Business Office
Full-Time: 40 hours per week; M-F; 8am-5pm
Job Duties: Directs and controls the activities of the Business Office through Coding, Billing, and Registration Supervisors, having overall responsibility of insurance processing, collections, coding, billing, payment posting, and improvement of policies/procedures related to accounts receivable and related patient financial services.
Requirements: Bachelors Degree in related field (accounting, business administration, finance, health care administration, etc.); Prefer 10+ years operational/physician billing experience including 5+ yrs managerial experience; Strong analytical skills; Strong leader who can multitask and self-starter; Comfortable communicating with Executives/Administration, Board of Directors, Physicians, Staff and Patients; Ability to manage processes and projects and meet deadlines; Comprehensive experience managing patient accounts in healthcare financial services capacity; Excellent spreadsheet and report development skills; Excellent presentation, organization, and communication skills; Extensive knowledge of AR billing systems and utility mgmt as it relates to production and client reporting; Extensive knowledge and experience in AR conversions and mgmt of existing accts receivable; Ability to develop and meet budget targets; Skill to review processes, define improvements and implement as needed; Manage training and development of direct supervisors and indirect staff.
