Patellofemoral (Knee Cap) Pain / Chondromalacia |
 |
|

Do you have knee cap pain with steps, squatting, long periods of sitting with knee bent,
or long periods of walking, running, or playing sports? If you do, ask your doctor about
the McConnell taping technique.

Graves-Gilbert Physical Therapist, Linda Pillow, has been
specially trained in this taping technique. This technique is simple to do by yourself. Physical
Therapy will instruct you in the technique and a home exercise program. In 2 to 3 weeks of taping
and exercise, you will have significantly less pain in your knee.
We have helped a 14-year-old swimmer and a 75-year-old housewife. We have seen a 90% success
rate with this technique. If you have any questions, please call Physical Therapy at (270) 780-0552.
